KIRAREYAKU is a minor part as the main character's enemy in Japanese samurai, ninja or yakuza movies and usually he gets killed by the main samurai hero with the sword in group TATE scene (samurai sword fighting scene). Even though the part is minor, KIRAREYAKU plays a very important role in the scene making the main samurai hero's action look sharp and dynamic.

It takes serious training to be able to act as a KIRAREYAKU. The training is done by TATE-SHI or sword action instructor, an expert of samurai fighting movement.
